Delete your account in the app #

You can delete your account yourself in a few taps. No form, no waiting:

1. Open toMATEtwo and sign in.
2. Open the side menu and tap Settings.
3. Tap Account.
4. Tap Delete account, read the list and tap Delete my account.

What happens to your data #

It happens at once and cannot be undone.

• Your profile is removed from Dating and BFF, along with your name, date of birth and bio. Likes and matches with no messages are removed too. Your photos, location, job, education, height, lifestyle and religion, your likes, passes and blocks, and your notification tokens are removed as well.
• People you chatted with keep the conversation. They see you as "Deleted User" and can't message you.
• Messages you sent stay in their chats, exactly as you wrote them.
• You can sign up again later with the same email. It will be a new account with none of your old profile, matches or messages.

Some records stay for safety, as our Privacy Policy explains:

• copies of your deleted photos, which only we can see, are erased after 90 days (12 months if they were reported, you were suspended or we removed them);
• reports you made or that were made about you stay until their retention ends (12 months after review);
• if your account was suspended, a one-way code of your email and device stays for the suspension.

Cannot open the app? #

If you cannot sign in or the app does not open, email support@tomatetwo.com from the email address of your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We may ask you to confirm it is you. We then delete the account the same way as the app does.

We answer within 30 days. If you only joined our website waitlist, email us from that address and we erase it.
